Designed for maximising your power and torque, the DPF back 3” exhaust for the 79 Series dual cab is one of the most thick and durable mandrel bent systems of its kind in Australia. Tried and tested in the toughest of Australian conditions, it is manufactured from 304 grade stainless steel and is up to 2mm thick to prevent cracking when traversing rough terrain. The three-bolt laser cut flanges are manufactured from 304 grade steel, and are welded inside and out for extra strength to withstand heavy duty off-roading, touring and towing. The brushed stainless steel not only looks great, its thickness adds depth and rumble to the note. This system comes complete with a resonator to further enhance the sound output of your vehicle.

Torqit’s 3” single exit 79 Series exhaust bolts onto the back of the DPF and complies with all regulations and insurance requirements, so your vehicle warranty will remain intact. As the owner of a vehicle fitted with a DPF, you are probably aware there are few things which will damage a diesel engine faster than excessive Exhaust Gas Temperature’s (EGT’s). The Torqit DPF Back 79 Series Performance Exhaust aims to lower these EGT’s by improving the flow of gases, and increasing engine efficiency and fuel economy.* It is the ideal alternative to deleting your DPF without the legal ramifications.

PERFORMANCE EXHAUST FEATURES

Thick Stainless Steel
An exhaust system is exposed to many varied elements, including extreme heat and rough terrain. To handle these harsh conditions, we use stainless steel that is up to 2mm thick to maintain structural strength even after bending. Being extremely durable and difficult to crack, you can go off-road with peace of mind that your Torqit Performance Exhaust system will stay intact. Steel thickness not only affects the strength of an exhaust system, but also the sound it will produce- the thinner the steel, the tinnier the note. 304 Grade Stainless Steel
The highest quality steel used in exhaust systems is 304 grade stainless, which is renowned for its high strength, corrosion resistance, and easy maintenance. It is known as an austenitic stainless steel, meaning due to a high percentage of chromium and nickel it is extremely resistant to rust, stress, and harsh conditions such as high temperatures. The excellent properties of Torqit’s 304 grade stainless demonstrate its strength in comparison to the 409 grade stainless commonly used in the automotive industry. For heavy duty strength and resistance to corrosion, 304 grade stainless steel is the superior choice. A 4WD owner who undertakes water crossings, backs their vehicle into the water to unload a boat, or lives by the coast will especially benefit from our stainless steel systems.

Internal & External Welds
High quality welds are essential to avoiding structural fatigue on joints, stopping cracks from forming, and preventing exhaust gas leaks. All Torqit Performance Exhausts are TIG welded internally and externally, to reinforce the system for maximum strength. TIG welding is complex and more time consuming than the usual MIG welding technique used on exhausts; however it is a key part of creating a premium system. Torqit’s welds are extremely precise, higher quality, and create a beautiful clean finish with no welding spatter.

Mandrel Bent System
Torqit’s Mandrel Bender uses a flexible mandrel rod to support the pipe internally and prevent crinkling as it is bent. This maintains a smooth and constant diameter, improving the efficiency of your engine. With Torqit’s in house mandrel bender, we can maintain the structural integrity and thickness of our systems, prevent restricted exhaust flow, and reduce back pressure. DELIVERY TIMES

All the following estimates are in business days. If you haven’t received your order within 10 days then please give us a call at 03 8401 3776 or contact us via email at sales@trekhardware.com.au with your order number in the message.

DELIVERY FEE

Your delivery cost will vary depending on the size, weight and delivery location. You can check the delivery cost once you add products to the cart.

DELIVERY ACCEPTANCE

All deliveries are registered and require a signature upon delivery. If there's no one at home, a card will be left with instructions to collect your order. Non bulky items can be delivered to the PO Box.

BULKY ITEMS:  Once the product has reached the nearest depot from the delivery address, the delivery company will contact you via the contact number you have provided at checkout to arrange a suitable time for delivery. If no one is home at the time of delivery, a second attempt will be made to deliver the item free of charge before you need to pick up the item yourself from the depot (a card will be left with the details of the depot).

SPLIT CONSIGNMENT / DELIVERIES

On occasions, an order may contain multiple items which may need to be delivered by multiple courier companies. Hence the products may arrive at different times.

SHIPPING DELAYS

There could be delays in delivery from time to time due to the following reasons:

• Public holidays
• Incorrect shipping address.
• Pandemic like situations where the supply chain is affected due to staff shortages at courier companies
• If the payment capture process is unsuccessful your order will be delayed until alternate payment arrangements can be made.
• Occasionally if a particular product is in high demand we may need to re-order the product from our suppliers.

There may be occasions when you will need to return your products. We have designed our returns policy to make this process very simple.

All goods purchased from Trek Hardware come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

We offer replacement / repair / store credit / refund if the product is faulty such as:

• Major failure of a product
• The product you received doesn’t match what was described to you
• Don’t do what they are supposed to do

You must provide us with the proof of purchase (e.g. your Trek Hardware purchase receipt, online tax invoice, credit card or bank statements). Any refund will be provided via the same method of payment as the original purchase.

CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS

Any product purchased from Trek Hardware can be returned within 14 days from the time it was received. For change of mind returns, the product:

• must be in its original condition.
• must be unused.
• must have all the tags still attached to it (if any).

Buyer has to cover the cost of return postage for all change of mind returns. The return will only get processed once Trek Hardware has received and inspected the product. The delivery fee is non-refundable for change of mind returns. For change of mind returns, Trek Hardware will not be responsible if the item gets lost in transit during the return shipping.

EXCEPTIONS:

Following items are excluded from the change of mind returns:

• Sleeping Bags.
• Special Orders.
• Workshop assembled items if Trek Hardware was given the wrong measurements.

 RETURNS BY POST

For change of mind returns, Trek Hardware will not be responsible if the item gets lost in transit during the return shipping. 

RETURNS IN PERSON

Products can only be returned at the store they were purchased from. 

PROOF OF PURCAHSE

All returns and exchanges require a proof of purchase (e.g. Trek Hardware receipt, credit card / bank statement)

PRODUCT WARRANTIES

All products sold by Trek Hardware have varying warranty periods. The warranty period, provisions and the company providing the warranty will be specified on or inside the product packaging.  Please refer to the product manual and warranty documents to determine the terms and conditions of any additional warranty.
